     Edwina Dorsey Stockton was born on 30 August 1857. She married Van Dyke Piper, son of James Wilson Piper and Sarah VanDyke Berier Ross, on 7 April 1895.¹ Edwina Dorsey Stockton died on 5 January 1920 at The Williamsburg Hospital, Brooklyn, New York, USA, at age 62. Colonel A. R. Piper, her brother-in-law, served as the Executor.² She was buried at The Evergreens Cemetery in Brooklyn, New York, USA.
     She and Van Dyke Piper appeared on the census of 1900 at Bronx, New York City, New York, USA, and he was working as an insurance adjuster. Edwina Dorsey Stockton and Van Dyke Piper appeared on the census of 1910 at New York City, New York, USA, and he was working as a painter of landscapes while she was a violinist. In both censuses, she is listed as being four years younger than he is, despite being 13 years older, which is a continuing mystery.

     Major Francis Eugene Berier was born on 20 February 1819. He married Julia Stanton in 1850. Major Francis Eugene Berier died on 3 October 1895 in Brooklyn, Kings, New York, USA, at age 76. He was buried at Green-Wood Cemetery, Brooklyn, New York, USA, Section 147, Lot 21192, Grave 1.¹
     Francis Eugene Berier enlisted as a Captain on 14 October 1861 and was immediately commissioned in the United States Commissary Department. He was promoted to Brevet Major on 13 Mar 1865. He mustered out of the service on 15 Nov 1866. He was a wine dealer in Manhattan and lived in Brooklyn.¹

     John Van Dyke Berier was born in 1821. He married Margaret Remsen in 1848. John Van Dyke Berier died in 1865.

     Julia Stanton was born in 1818. She married Major Francis Eugene Berier, son of Francis Nathaniel Berier and Sarah Van Dyke, in 1850. Julia Stanton died in 1880.

     Margaret Remsen married John Van Dyke Berier, son of Francis Nathaniel Berier and Sarah Van Dyke, in 1848.

     Robert Barnard married Deborah Cozzens, daughter of Issachar Cozzens Jr and Mary Ann Spinks.

     Marion Anne Curtis was born circa 1817 and was the adopted daughter of Thomas D. Moore.¹ She married Abraham Martling Cozzens, son of William Brown Cozzens and Sarah Martling, circa 1834.¹ Marion Anne Curtis died in 1846.

     Anna Louise Cozzens was born in 1835. She died in 1840.

     Thomas Moore Cozzens was born in 1837. He married Josephine Harmon in 1862. Thomas Moore Cozzens died in 1888.

     Francis Hamilton Cozzens was born in 1839. He married Josephine Kelley in 1863. Francis Hamilton Cozzens died in 1919.

     William Dean Cozzens was born in 1841.

     Adele Cozzens was born in 1842. She married Eli Kelley in 1867. Adele Cozzens died in 1903.

     Edward Carey Cozzens was born in 1845. He married Antoinette Kelley in 1869. Edward Carey Cozzens died in 1911.
