     John Mayes Elder was born in 1653 in Edinburgh, Angus, Scotland.¹ He married Janet Jean Davidson, daughter of Matthew Davidson and Isobel Sym, on 23 June 1677 in Scoonie, Fifeshire, Scotland.¹ John Mayes Elder died in 1746 in Paxtang, Dauphin, Pennsylvania, USA, at age 93 years.¹

     Thomas Ross was born in 1767.¹ He died in 1815 in Easton at age 48 years.¹
     He was admitted to the bar of Northampton county in 1793, but practiced but a year or two, when he moved to New York city. He returned to Newtown in 1800. Thomas was appointed prothonotary and clerk of the courts of Bucks county in 1801, and held those offices for eight years.¹

     John Ross Esq. was born on 24 February 1770 in Solebury Township, Bucks, Pennsylvania, USA. He married Mary Jenkins on 19 November 1795 in Jenkintown.² John Ross Esq. died on 31 January 1834 at age 63 years, 11 months and 7 days.³
     Honorable JOHN ROSS, aged about 64 years, one of the Associate Judges of the Supreme Court, and formerly President Judge of the Court of Common Pleas in this district, died suddenly of Apoplexy. Judge Ross was several years a member of Congress.

     The Pike County History indicated he graduated from West Point and served in the Seminole War, but there was no corroborating evidence.¹

     Brigadier General Henry Whiting Stanton was born on 1 November 1779 in Burlington, Vermont, USA.¹ He married Eliza Keyes, daughter of Amasa Keyes and Penelope Williams, on 2 December 1817 in Hartford, Connecticut, USA.² Brigadier General Henry Whiting Stanton married Alexandrine Macomb on 12 February 1834. Brigadier General Henry Whiting Stanton died on 1 August 1856 in Fort Hamilton, Kings, New York, USA, at age 76 years and 9 months.¹
     He became a lieutenant of light artillery in June 1813, then served successively as Assistant Deputy Quartermaster-General, Military Secretary to General George Izard in 1814, Deputy Quartermaster-General with the rank of major in 1820, Acting Adjutant-General in Florida under General Thomas S. Jessup in 1836–37, and Assistant Quartermaster-General with the rank of colonel in 1838, later being brevetted Brigadier General for meritorious conduct in the Mexican War and having service in the War of 1812, in Florida, and in Mexico.

     Eliza Keyes was born in 1786 in Hartford, Hartford, Connecticut, USA.¹ She married Brigadier General Henry Whiting Stanton on 2 December 1817 in Hartford, Connecticut, USA.¹ Eliza Keyes died on 11 March 1832 in New York, New York, USA, at age 46 years.¹ She was buried at the Green-Wood Cemetery in Brooklyn, Kings, New York, USA.¹

     Tileman Jacobzen was born in 1615 in Kamerik, Woerden, Utrecht, Netherlands.¹ He married Tryntje Agges Janszen, daughter of Achias Haegen and Vrouwtje Jans Oltmans, on 11 August 1678.¹ Tileman Jacobzen died in Flatbush, Kings, New York, USA.¹
