     Nancy Barr married Thomas Donnell, son of James Donnell and Catherine Gibson, on 16 June 1789.1 Nancy Barr died in April 1833 after she wandered into the woods and froze to death.
     Lore has it that Nancy's father dds not approve of their marriage and Thomas and Nancy rode off, never to see her family again.1
