Cunningham died on 5 September 1933 in Belleville, Hastings, Ontario, Canada, at age 85.^2,1 He was buried at the Grove Cemetery in Ameliasburgh, Prince Edward County Municipality, Ontario, Canada.³

A Lena Cunningham, born in 1875, married a John Grant of Idaho, which has caused some confusion. Fortunately, the newspaper announcement of the marriage of the Idahon Lena Cunningham indicates her father was a W. B. Cunningham, not Calvin.
