     Francis Edward Ackerman was born on 2 December 1951 in Washington, District of Columbia, USA. He was christened in St. Matthew's Cathedral, Washington, District of Columbia, USA. He died on 12 August 2018 in Portland, Maine, USA, at age 66. He was buried on 15 August 2018 at the Harrington Meetinghouse Cemetery in Bristol, Maine, USA.¹
     Francis Edward Ackerman was known by his family and friends as Kicky, Far. He was educated in 1973 where he received a Bachelor of Arts in History. He received his J.D. At Boston University, Boston, Suffolk, Massachusetts, USA, in 1979. He was the Assistant Attorney General of Maine in Augusta and later the Deputy Attorney for the State of Maine.

     Katherine Hibbeler was born on 1 September 1866 in Oldenburg, Germany.² She married Heinrich Knipp, son of Johann Henrich Knipp and Maria Katherine Daub, in May 1884 in Milam, Texas, USA.² Several years after her husband passed, Katherine Hibbeler married Peter J Leavson at Texas, USA.³ Katherine Hibbeler died on 16 December 1937 in Milam, Texas, USA, at age 71.⁴ She was buried at the Oak Hill Cemetery in Cameron, Milam, Texas, USA.⁵
     Katherine Hibbeler spelled her name in a variety of ways: "Katie, Katrina, Katheryn, Catherine" In one her first letters that she wrote home on behalf of Henry, she spelled it Katharina.^3,6 She emigrated in 1878 from Northern Germany with her parents arriving in Galveston, Texas then moving on to Brenham, Texas.³ After her mother's death and when Katrina was about 16, the family moved to Cameron, Texas where they could all find work. Also lore: At one point in the marriage of Katherine Hibbeler and Heinrich Knipp, he raised his hand to beat her, and she reached behind her and picked up the poker. On his deathbed, he is supposed to have said, “Whatever you do, don’t let her hit me with the poker”.⁷ Katherine Hibbeler appeared on the census of 1910 at 100 Buckhalts Road in Cameron, Milam, Texas, USA. Living with her were children Otto, Henrietta, Earnest, and Fred; her father Henry Hebler; Matilda Myer; and Gordon Lankford. Spelling in census forms is usually poor, so Matilda may be a niece of Henry's first wife.⁸

     Velma Miles was born on 19 September 1911 in Oak Hill, Kansas, USA. She married Clarence Joe Edward Bauer, son of Jochem John Albert Bauer and Rebecca Jane Dietrich, on 25 July 1981. Velma Miles died on 2 January 2000 at age 88.
     She attended business college in Topeka, Kansas, and Kansas State University. She was a homemaker.
